Twelve years ago, Porsche introduced the first GTS version of the 911. Now, a new generation of the popular sports car model is being launched – more powerful and visually distinctive, and with better driving dynamics than ever. Its six-cylinder boxer engine delivers 353 kW: Fuel consumption combined 11.4 – 10.4 l/100 km, CO2 emissions combined 259 – 236 g/km), which is 22 kW (30 PS) more than the current 911 Carrera S and the previous 911 GTS. An eight-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) or a seven-speed manual, as well as GTS-specific suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and the high-performance braking system from the 911 Turbo, ensure the superior transmission of longitudinal and lateral forces. Driving dynamics will be further improved with the Lightweight Design package, which will be available for the first time for the GTS from November 2021 and saves up to 25 kilograms.
The Land Rover Discovery Sport in brief
Family-friendly, spacious and versatile: these are three great qualities of the Land Rover Discovery Sport. And the compact SUV from Great Britain with up to seven seats can do much more. With the new 2021 model year, the Discovery Sport underlines its multi-faceted character with a whole range of interesting innovations. In addition to the plug-in hybrid version, it also has two new, particularly efficient mild hybrid diesel engines. In addition, the special edition Discovery Sport R-Dynamic S will be launched - powered by a 213 kW (290 PS) Ingenium gasoline engine. The 2021 Generation Discovery Sport also has a lot of new features to offer in other areas of technology, such as the state-of-the-art infotainment systems Pivi and Pivi Pro, the ability to update software "Over-The-Air", a new filter system for the interior air and other assistance systems. Land Rover has opened its order books for the 2021 Discovery Sport - at recommended retail prices starting at 36,856.81 Euros (with 16% VAT) for the D150 FWD with manual transmission. The plug-in hybrid version is available as AWD with automatic transmission and the higher equipment from 55,446.05 Euro. And leasing is available without down payment from 357.00 Euro per month for 3 years, with 10,000 km mileage per year. The 2021 model year will be available from the beginning of 2021.
With a sharpened design, the modernised CLS will arrive in European dealerships in August 2021. The front end in particular, with new radiator grilles and bumpers, expresses the dynamism of the four-door coupé even more strongly. At the same time, the interior has been upgraded with additional leather and trim combinations as well as a new-generation steering wheel. A latest-generation diesel with integrated starter-generator expands the model range. A strictly limited special model of the Mercedes-AMG CLS 53 4MATIC+ (combined fuel consumption 9.0-8.7 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions 206-199 g/km) forms the sportily exclusive spearhead. Thanks to a comprehensive update last summer, with upgrades to the driving assistance systems, the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) multimedia system and ENERGIZING Comfort, the CLS was already up-to-date technologically.
The MC20 super sports car, now also a spyder: Maserati presents MC20 Cielo, a one-of-a-kind car that can deliver the performance of a true super sports car, together with a holistic and immersive driving pleasure the like of which has never been seen before. MC20 Cielo announces its special features in its very name: MC stands for Maserati Corse (‘Racing’); 20 refers to 2020, the year that began the brand’s new era; Cielo (‘sky’) highlights the fact that it is a model devoted to driving pleasure in the great outdoors, while maintaining all the prerogatives of the coupé. Equipped with the revolutionary V6 Nettuno engine, the Cielo offers a perfect mix of sportiness and luxury, courtesy of a specification unique to the segment: the innovative retractable glass roof. In actual fact, the new spyder acts a meeting point between Maserati audacity and the infinite sky, featuring a special “sky feeling”. The model is equipped with a state-of-the-art electrochromic (smart glass) window that can instantly be transformed from clear to opaque at the touch of a button on the central screen, courtesy of Polymer-Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology. The roof is also best-in-class in terms of thermal insulation and of opening and closing speed (just 12 seconds). Courtesy of this epitome of technology, MC20 Cielo provides a multi-sensory driving experience: all-encompassing with the roof closed and opaque; unique for the in-cabin brightness when the roof is transparent; holistic with the top down.
