New Subaru Forester starts at prices from 40,490 euros

The Subaru Forester is entering the next generation. The sixth edition of the all-wheel-drive icon is now rolling out in Germany with prices starting at 40,490 euros (RRP incl. 19% VAT). A sharpened design, more comfort and safety meet unrestricted off-road capability and an electrified drive. From a two-liter displacement, the petrol engine develops 100 kW/136 hp and 182 Nm of torque. The four-cylinder is supported by a small 12 kW/17 hp electric motor. The e-Boxer mild hybrid system improves responsiveness and fuel efficiency. The stepless Lineartronic automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels: The permanent Symmetrical AWD all-wheel drive, which is almost a trademark of all Subaru models, ensures excellent traction off paved roads. Longer and wider than in the previous generation, the new Forester features a sporty-robust look. In the interior, occupants benefit from the usual generous space. Newly designed front seats and better noise insulation increase travel comfort, while the enhanced Eyesight system with twelve new or improved functions contributes to the high level of safety.
