Court rules: Wolf shooting still prohibited

The Higher Administrative Court of Lower Saxony in Lüneburg decided today to continue to prohibit the shooting of a wolf. No reasons have yet been given for the ruling. Cattle had been killed several times by wolves in the Hanover region, which is why the Ministry of the Environment had granted permission for a rapid cull.
