Opel Corsa is the best-selling small car in 2020

Another success for the Opel of the hour: The Corsa was once again the best-selling small car in Germany in December and thus occupied the coveted top position in this highly competitive market segment for 2020 as a whole. A total of around 53,200 new Opel Corsas were registered in Germany last year - despite the tense market situation due to the corona pandemic, an increase of almost 1,500 units or around 3 percent compared to the previous year. Since its introduction in 1982, the Corsa has been one of Opel's most popular vehicles with around 14 million units sold. The new Corsa is chic, dynamic, agile, comfortable and, in the electric version, also emission-free on the move - and that from around 20,000 euros including government subsidies in Germany. In Opel's home market, around 27 percent of private customers are already opting for a fully electric Corsa-e, with the model playing an important role in Opel's electrification offensive
