Avoid These Mistakes When Cleaning Windows

Source: VIDEOELEPHANT (Glomex)

When we decide to clean our windows, we usually think it's an easy task, but we are often proven wrong. Fortunately, there are some tips you should consider before cleaning your windows, starting with avoiding warm days. You might believe that the sun enhances visibility, but in reality, it can cause the cleaner to evaporate and leave streaks or spots. Secondly, you should wipe dirt and dust from the edges of the window or windowsill to prevent the dust from mixing with the cleaner. It's better to use distilled water rather than tap water when making your own cleaner, as tap water contains minerals that can leave residues on the window. For wiping, it's best to use a microfiber cloth or a lint-free cloth, as paper towels leave fibers.
