Der Brasilianer Kauli Seadi surfte einige gute Wellen und streute immer wieder seine Tricks ein, die ihm Runde 3 gegen Paolo Migliorini einbrachte. Balz Müller durfte sich ebenfalls über das Weiterkommen freuen, nachdem er einen weniger guten Tag erwischte. Er wird als nächstes gegen Michael Näf an Tag 3 antreten.
