The new Opel Astra 1.5 Diesel with 130 hp.

The new Opel Astra model 2022 as a diesel is on test with us. First impression: It certainly has what it takes to be the class leader. It has all the assistants and technology that is up to date nowadays, but it is not overloaded with technology that no one understands without studying computer science. From a driving point of view, our diesel with 130 hp moves quite quickly. 300 Nm at 3,750 revs - as of today - almost make for sentimentality: just this diesel-typical torque from four cylinders without touring whine. It takes 10.6 s to reach 100 km/h. Our test diesel Opel Astra achieves a maximum top speed of 209 km/h. In spite of all the publicity against the diesel engine, we say that a current diesel engine is the better choice, especially for frequent drivers. The Astra Diesel is rated at 4.3 to 4.5 liters per 100 kilometers according to WLTP. We got over 6 liters in predominantly city driving. Of course, a plug-in hybrid is also available for city drivers. The Opel Astra is "made in Germany" in terms of technology and tuning. And that's why it definitely has what it takes to become the class leader. Especially because the price and what you get for it are simply more digestible than with the Golf. Our Astra is available for around 28,000 €, a similarly configured VW Golf for no less than 37,000 €.
