Hyundai names prices for TUCSON plug-in hybrid

The new Hyundai TUCSON can now be ordered as a TUCSON plug-in hybrid at a price from 42,350 euros. A 1.6-liter T-GDI four-cylinder SmartStream turbo gasoline engine with 180 PS (132 kW) and 265 Newton meters works in the TUCSON plug-in hybrid. Equipped with a 13.8 kilowatt hours (kWh) battery pack, the TUCSON plug-in hybrid can cover an electric range of up to 74 kilometers according to WLTP. The electric motor has an output of 91 hp (67 kW). In combination with the combustion engine, this results in a system output of 265 hp (195 kW) and a system torque of 350 Newton meters.
