In the new Audi Q4 e-tron, the driver and passengers experience completely new dimensions. The space available in the electrically powered compact SUV by far exceeds today's class limits - it offers space at the level of the luxury class. The display concept also opens up a new dimension: the augmented reality head-up display connects the real and the virtual world, the MMI display is up to 11.6 inches diagonal (optional towards the end of the year). The new generation of steering wheels with touch controls also represents the future course of the new Stromer. Bentley is completing its new driver-focused S range with the launch of the new Flying Spur S, bringing extra dimensions of increased dynamic ability, dramatic visual presence and heightened aural drama to further enhance Bentley’s pinnacle four-door sedan. This is the first time that Bentley’s historic ‘S’ badge has been applied to a Hybrid product and is another step towards Beyond100, Bentley’s vision of the future and sustainable pathway forwards. The Bentley Flying Spur has long been feted for its ability to engage the driver without compromising passenger comfort. As with the recently launched Continental GT S and GT S Convertible, the new Flying Spur S models focus on the pleasure of driving – but with the added choice between 4.0-litre V8 or V6 Hybrid powertrains. Bentley customers now have a clear choice, with the comfort-oriented Flying Spur Azure emphasising ‘Wellbeing behind the Wheel’, or the new Flying Spur S models expanding the visual, tactile and aural enhancements to the driving experience.
The first series-produced vehicles of the new BMW 7 Series have today rolled off the production lines of BMW Group Plant Dingolfing. In fact, today was a double debut, with the new top-of-the-range BMW manufactured not only with highly efficient combustion engines but also as the fully electric BMW i7. With production under way, once sales organisations have been provided with the show and demonstration vehicles they need, the new BMW 7 Series will be available to customers worldwide in the autumn of this year. The BMW i7, especially, marks the next step in the BMW Group’s electromobility campaign for the luxury segment, which Dingolfing has come to symbolise.
