Since its launch in 2014, the current Qashqai has featured LED headlights in the higher trim levels; in the top version, they follow the driver's steering angle and illuminate the road with unprecedented clarity thanks to their powerful projectors. An advanced lighting system has been developed for the new generation model that automatically adapts to road conditions and other road users. The headlamp units consist of twelve individual elements that can be deactivated separately when an oncoming vehicle is detected. As a result, the headlights continuously provide a brighter, wider and wider field of light, but can influence the shape of the light beam so that oncoming road users are not dazzled.

Whether a large nuclear family or a small extended family: as a seven-seater, the new EQB offers space for many family constellations and a wide variety of transport needs. This gives it an exceptional position not only in the compact segment, but especially among electric cars. The two seats in the third row can be used by people up to 1.65 metres tall, and child seats can also be fitted there. The new EQB will make its debut at Auto Shanghai 2021 (21 to 28 April 2021). Following the EQA 250 (combined electrical consumption: 15.7 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km) it is the second fully electric compact car from Mercedes-EQ. The powerful and efficient electric drive, clever recuperation and predictive Navigation with Electric Intelligence are just some of the features that link it to the EQA. The market launch in China is scheduled for this year. After Europe, the international version of the EQB, produced in Kecskemét, Hungary, will be launched at the end of the year, followed by the US market launch in 2022.

Chevrolet expanded its electric vehicle portfolio with the introduction of the new, all-electric 2022 Bolt EUV, alongside the redesigned 2022 Bolt EV. Distinguished by unique exterior designs, including an SUV-like proportion for the new Bolt EUV, each is propelled by the proven technology that helped make the Bolt EV the industry’s first affordable, long-range electric vehicle — and both are part of General Motors’ plan to launch 30 new EVs globally by 2025. Along with broadening the brand’s electric vehicle lineup, the Bolt EUV will also be the first Chevrolet vehicle to offer Super Cruise1, the industry’s first true hands-free driver assistance system for enabled roads. Chevrolet is also making charging more convenient with a new Dual Level Charge Cord, which, for many customers, will eliminate the need to purchase a separate charger for their home. It has a changeable plug that allows the customer to plug into a standard 120-volt three-prong outlet for Level charging and a 240-volt outlet for Level 2 charging up to 7.2 kilowatts. The new Dual Level Charge Cord is standard with Bolt EUV and is available for Bolt EV. For maximum Level 2 charging speed, both vehicles are now capable of 11 kW Level 2 charging, but separate charging equipment (not included) is required.
