Audi has produced more than 10.5 million cars with all-wheel drive in its history. In 2019, 45% of all customers will choose a quattro vehicle. Since 1980, four-wheel drive has increasingly become the brand DNA - with no sign of a midlife crisis so far. On the 40th Quattro birthday, we take a look at the milestones, the transformation of the drive concept, and look to the future.
