Since its launch in 2015, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class has been delivered in around 60,000 units worldwide. In 2019, with around 12,000 units, sales of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class reached their highest peak: in China, the growth rate was double-digit. In addition to China, the main markets in recent years have been Russia, South Korea, the USA and Germany. New Mercedes-Maybach S-Class takes up this success story, again combining the perfection and high-tech character of the Mercedes-Benz flagship, presented a few months ago, with Maybach's exclusivity and tradition. The wheelbase increased by 18 cm compared to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class long is entirely to the advantage of the rear compartment. Thanks to the standard Executive seats and chauffeur package, the rear compartment becomes a comfortable workplace or relaxation area. Added to this are exclusive details, such as large wooden decorative elements at the rear of the front seats and between the seats of the two rear passengers. Sales of Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will begin this year in several markets. In Germany they will begin in spring 2021.

With a push of the engine start button, its naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine roars to life, providing a not-so-subtle reminder that something special lies beneath its raised hood. The 2022 IS 500 accelerates from 0-60 MPH in 4.4 seconds according to AMCI testing and has an EPA-estimated 25 mpg highway rating.
