The Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140 - proven and efficient technology

The Jogger Hybrid 140 mobilizes a system output of 140 hp and enables the lowest consumption and CO2 emission values in the range. It uses technology that has already been successfully proven in Renault's hybrid models: In addition to a four-cylinder gasoline engine with a displacement of 1.6 liters, it has two electric motors: the main electric motor is integrated into the transmission, serves to drive the vehicle and changes gear. The weaker unit serves as a starter-generator. The clutchless multi-mode transmission has two speeds for the electric drive and four speeds for the combustion engine. The gears are changed automatically and without any intervention by the driver. Thanks to the high level of recuperation in conjunction with the 1.2 kWh (230V) battery, the Jogger Hybrid 140 enables the following in urban traffic: 80 percent of journeys to be made purely electrically and fuel consumption to be reduced by up to 40 percent compared with a vehicle with a purely combustion engine with the same driving style. The all-electric, powerful drive during acceleration, together with the automatic change of driving gears, increases the driving comfort and driving pleasure of the Jogger Hybrid 140 and ensures an excellent energy balance. The battery charges when the driver brakes or releases the gas pedal. The result is a range of over 900 kilometers in the combined WLTP cycle. Dacia provides a warranty on the battery of the Jogger Hybrid 140 of eight years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever is sooner a
