Without Germany: Safe vacation countries for women

Solo trips are becoming increasingly popular, but are often unthinkable for women. 3rd place in the ranking of the safest vacation destinations for women: Norway: Here, women feel very safe at night. Norway also scores with a low female homicide rate. The luggage storage platform Bounce has compiled a list of the safest travel countries for women. For this, seven parameters were examined with figures from criminal analyses and information on subjective perception. 2nd place: occupied by Austria. Here, a particularly large number of women feel safe when traveling alone at night. This is the case for 79 percent of respondents. Ireland comes out on top with 7.8 out of a possible 10 points. The island scores particularly well for laws on the protection of women and for the population's attitude toward violence against women. Incidentally, Germany only comes in 25th place, ahead of the UK, the USA and Turkey.
