The picturesque Rovinj is located on the west coast of the Istrian region between Porec and Pula. The idyllic small town is one of the most popular destinations in the vacation destination Croatia. The old town, whose houses are densely packed along the water, is located on a headland. Winding, cobblestone streets lead up to the hilltop church of St. Euphemia, whose tall spire dominates the townscape. South of the old town is Lone Bay, one of the region's many pebble beaches. Just off the mainland are the 14 islands of the Rovinj archipelago.
