The Absa Cape Epic 2021, the eight-day race is often referred as the "Tour de France of mountain biking" and it‘s the most prestigious MTB stage race in the world. It also attracts aspiring amateur riders wanting to test themselves against the best. Also this year the Cape Epic leads through the impressive landscapes of the Western Cape of South Africa. The riders have to complete around 700 kilometers and 16.000 meters of climbing.
