Orés, Spain - July 15, 2026 Dashcam-like footage shows the arrival of the BIEM4 Battalion of the Spanish Military Emergency Unit (UME) as firefighters respond to the Orés forest fire. Dense, orange smoke filled the road ahead of them, reducing visibility as a vehicle followed a truck through the haze. Bright flames were visible along the roadside. At the fire front, firefighters in red UME uniforms stood ready with hoses on a dry field. Nearby, red fire trucks were positioned as heavy smoke and intense flames rose from burning slopes. The scene resembled a smoke-filled battlefield where every movement was determined by the visibility and heat of the fire. The Spanish Military Emergency Unit deployed its BIEM4 Battalion to the Orés forest fire in the province of Zaragoza on July 15, 2026. The operation targeted a fire spreading across slopes, enveloping the area with dense smoke and flaring fire spots. The goal was to halt the spread and secure endangered areas. Coordinated effort of UME and regional teams Regional firefighting teams from Aragón coordinated actions together with UME personnel. Firefighters worked with hoses and heavy equipment to contain the fire spreading across the slopes. As the smoke blanketed the landscape, the forces remained in position, using their equipment to control the flames at the frontlines.
