54. Nürnberger Altstadtfest: Extended until October again

The Nuremberg Old Town Festival will once again last for an especially long period this year. The 54th edition begins on September 16 with the traditional beer tapping on the island of Schütt and only ends on October 4. Highlights include the jousting on the Pegnitz and for the first time a planned youth jousting. In the Katharinenruine, there are events such as "Opera House meets Old Town Festival" and a Neil Young evening on the program. Admission to the events in the Katharinenruine is free.
