On November 5, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, two cargo ships — the Kanway Lucky and a Fesco vessel — created a massive wave while passing through Can Gio port. The surge crashed over the riverbank, forcing anglers and young boys fishing nearby to run for safety as water spilled over the edge.
