Study links COVID during pregnancy to higher autism risk in children

An October 30 study from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston has linked autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders to a COVID-19 infection in a mother's body during pregnancy. 18,124 births between March 2020 and May 2021 were assessed. 93% of the mothers were unvaccinated due to the lack of widely available shots in that time period.
