Syrian President al-Sharaa visits Russia

The Syrian interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa stated during his first official visit to Moscow that he intends to restore the relationship with Russia in a new way. Al-Sharaa emphasized that Syria should remain independent and preserve its territorial integrity. Russian President Vladimir Putin warmly welcomed al-Sharaa and praised the close relations between both countries.
