Poachers killing and capturing endangered spider monkeys to sell to social media influencers
In a report by CBS and Inside Edition released on October 28, journalists said endangered spider monkeys from Mexico are being violently stolen from their families, smuggled into the US and are being sold to influencers, who showcase the animals being coddled like human babies on their social media channels.
