Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur for the Palestinians, intends to continue despite the US sanctions imposed on her. Albanese repeatedly accuses Israel of committing genocide against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The US justifies the sanctions, among other things, by Albanese's support for the International Criminal Court.
