The European Union wants to "accelerate implementation" of partnership with Greenland on strategic metals, says French President Emmanuel Macron during a visit to the Arctic island. "European Union is ready to accelerate and deliver concrete results in energy and low-carbon energy (...) and critical minerals in rare earths," says the French leader during a joint press conference with Danish PM Mette Frederiksen and Greenland's PM Jens-Frederik Nielsen.
