The United Nations warns against further militarization of unrest in Los Angeles after US President Donald Trump called out National Guard soldiers to counter days of violent protests over his migrant deportations policy. US President Donald Trump says that Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte are "fine," after a video appeared to show her shoving the French president's face on a trip to Vietnam. "Make sure the door remains closed," Trump tells reporters when asked if he has any advice for Macron about the video, which was filmed as the door of the French couple's plane opened. "He's fine. Images of the Litoral Penitentiary, a high-security prison in Guayaquil from which the leader of one of the criminal gangs that have made Ecuador one of the most violent countries in Latin America escaped. "Fede", leader of the Los Aguilas gang, escaped from a prison complex where the country's most dangerous prisoners are held.
