Protesters clash with police as thousands of supporters of Bolivia's former leader Evo Morales marched to the electoral court in La Paz, demanding he be allowed to run for a fourth term in the August elections. Morales, who resigned in 2019 after 13 years in power, has vowed to make a public return to lead the march on La Paz and file his presidential candidacy, despite being legally barred from running. An Israeli government spokeswoman says that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump held an "emotional" phone call following the announcement of a Gaza deal between Israel and Hamas. "In a phone call earlier this morning, Prime Minister Netanyahu thanked President Trump for his global leadership efforts to make this all possible," Shosh Bedrosian told journalists adding that "it was a very emotional and a warm conversation as both leaders congratulated each other on this historic achievement," she added. US President Donald Trump tells Israel's parliament that the forces of "jihadism and antisemitism" have failed, as he celebrates the ceasefire he helped to broker in Gaza.
