The Vienna Chamber of Labour and the vida union have recorded an increase in cases of sexual harassment in the workplace in recent years. Especially in the hospitality industry, intrusive behavior by guests or even the boss is often perceived and dismissed as normal. In order to better prevent harassment and offer the right support to those affected, a protection concept will now be developed together with the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ).
