Farmers' demonstration in Freyung with Minister Aiwanger

A farmers' demonstration also took place in Freyung in the Freyung-Grafenau district on Saturday. Despite the freezing cold, thousands of people gathered at the Volksfestplatz to protest against the cuts in agricultural subsidies. Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger was invited as keynote speaker and expressed his dissatisfaction with the "traffic light" government in no uncertain terms.
