Bavarian election: Dampener for CSU - Free Voters strengthened

Dampener for the CSU in the state election in Bavaria: Although the party of Prime Minister Markus Söder is clearly the strongest force in the state election with around 37 percent, it cannot improve on its weak result from five years ago. The Free Voters apparently benefit from the leaflet affair of their top candidate Hubert Aiwanger and gain significantly compared to 2018.
