Elections in Guinea-Bissau: outgoing president Embalo casts his vote
The outgoing president of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, casts his ballots in the presidential and legislative elections. At 53, he is the favourite to win the election in the first round. He would then become the first head of state in Guinea-Bissau to serve two consecutive terms since the introduction of a multi-party system in 1994. IMAGES
