Tourism Boom in Bavaria: Nearly 7 Million Guests in Spring

In the first quarter, the Free State recorded a total of 6.7 million guest arrivals and 17.7 million overnight stays. Compared to the previous year, the number of guests increased by more than half, according to the State Office for Statistics. Youth hostels and huts in particular were visited more frequently.
