Empty subway platforms and congested streets: The 24-hour warning strike by Hamburg's elevated railroad has been underway since three o'clock in the morning. The employees demand more money and before the next round of negotiations between Verdi and Hochbahn starts on Thursday, the employees showed their muscles. Buses and subways remained in the depots on Wednesday.
