Since 2014, Nicole and Frank Pape have had a retreat in Preußisch Oldendorf for people who are seriously ill, impaired or grieving. Accompanied by horses and dogs, people can say goodbye to life here, recover from chemotherapy or come to terms with the grief over their own child.
