SuperKite Brasil 2020 - Day 1: Welcome to the GKA Freestyle Super-Grand Slam in Ilha do Guajiru (BRA)!

After the spectacular SuperFoil Brasil 2020 last week the surfing action continues directly with the SuperKite Brasil 2020. From 17th to 21st November the GKA Freestyle Champion will be crowned at the GKA Freestyle Super-Grand Slam in Ilha do Guajiro (BRA). The highlights of the first two rounds were certainly the Brazilian talents like Carlos Magno, Daniel Pereira Nunes and the freestyle prodigy Davi Ribeiro, who showed the best trick of the day at only 12 years of age! Davi was able to win his run and jumps directly into round 3, where he has to compete against Karim Mahmoud and Juan Rodríguez. After rounds 1 and 2 are completed, the athletes will have to start tomorrow morning to make the most of the tidal conditions, starting with round 3 for the men and continuing with the preliminary runs for the women.
