Ratzeburg Cathedral is home to the only workshop in Schleswig-Holstein dedicated to the production and restoration of paraments. Paraments refer to all textiles used in the church space and liturgy. They are often artistically designed and their color scheme follows the respective section in the church year - an ancient craft.
