Canbug in the Pitch

Christian Jäger jokes, "Almost landed in the marriage harbor again." Because the right choice of words is paramount in this pitch. Upper Austrian Hermann Schlattner from the Vöcklabruck district is a true "Daniel Düsentrieb". After the "Knickbox", he now wants to be successful with the "Canbug". With his new invention, he takes on annoying, dangerous insects that climb over the openings in beverage cans. The Canbug can be placed on all conventional beverage cans. With a mechanism, the two wings of the cover open and close, allowing safe drinking from the can. Schlattner has already patented the product, now he just needs the support of a business angel to successfully cover the beverage market. While some investors are skeptical, Katharina Schneider confesses, "I love inventors." But before she can finish her sentence, Schlattner interrupts her: "I'm married." But Schneider doesn't seem to want to walk down the aisle so quickly either: "I don't mean it in that way, I'm not proposing now. I've already closed that chapter for myself," she laughs. But will there be an investment?
