Jeep confirms its European Roadmap to 2030 - Interview with Xavier Peugeot
Jeep Renegade is back, reclaiming a key position in the brand’s expanding portfolio by 2030. Since its launch in 2014, more than 610,000 Renegade vehicles have been sold in Europe, making it a key contributor to Jeep’s presence in the region. The next generation will strengthen the brand’s position in one of Europe’s key SUV segments and bring Jeep to a broader audience. Looking further ahead: a new Jeep vision takes shape Looking beyond 2030, Jeep is exploring new ways to respond to evolving mobility needs. As populations concentrate in increasingly dense urban areas, demand is growing for compact, sustainable vehicles equally suited to everyday city driving and getting away from it all. This changing context opens the way to a new vision for the brand: a future inspired by Jeep icons, such as the Willys with capable, compact and electrified vehicles designed to meet tomorrow’s mobility needs. "We confirm our 2030 roadmap, based on capable, compact and electrified vehicles, inspired by Jeep’s iconic DNA, such as Renegade, still providing freedom to go wherever life takes our customers", said Xavier Peugeot, Head of Jeep Brand Europe. Throughout this evolution, one reference remains fundamental: Jeep DNA is the touchstone. Every choice must preserve the values that have defined the brand throughout its history.
