MINI John Cooper Works - The Machina - The Interior

In the interior of the JCW show car, the classic JCW colors red, white, and black dominate. Each element serves a clear purpose. The 5-point racing harnesses are not only safety equipment but envelop the driver like a second skin and are an integral part. Raw aluminum floor plates offer more than just grip; they evoke the purpose-optimized aesthetics found in the custom motorcycle workshops of Deus from Sydney to Venice Beach to Canggu. One of the many weight reduction measures is the greatly reduced door interiors, on which a large white "X" is emblazoned. In addition, the dashboard is largely made of waxed fabric, which is lightweight on the one hand and at the same time emphasizes craftsmanship with its patina look. The roll cage is both a safety feature and a sculptural element - a clear commitment to the vehicle's track suitability. The controls of the show car speak a clear language of functionality and directness. Every switch, every button is designed to function intuitively and reliably - even under extreme conditions.
