The new Škoda Kodiaq - Second generation offers new design, more sustainability and new technologies
When it comes to the exterior, the upgraded headlights with the latest second-generation LED matrix technology and the radiator grille with horizontal light strip immediately catch the eye. Recycled textiles and environmentally friendly tanned leather in the interior underline the focus on sustainability. In addition to a new range structure with several Design Selections and option packages, the Kodiaq also offers a new interior concept. The free-standing infotainment display has a screen diagonal of up to 13 inches, and a head-up display is available as an option for the first time. The gear selector lever is now located on the steering column, giving the center console a particularly tidy appearance and offering more space. A new feature in the Kodiaq: the new Škoda Smart Dials. The three rotating controls below the infotainment screen combine haptic control elements with 32-millimeter colour displays. This enables simple and intuitive operation of the numerous vehicle and infotainment functions. The integration of the AI-based chatbot ChatGPT into the Laura voice assistant will improve the customer experience in the vehicle in future and make everyday life easier. The new Phonebox charges up to two smartphones inductively at the same time with 15 watts and cools them in the process.
