Only an Audi drives like an Audi: This is how the Four Rings encapsulate the Audi DNA of driving characteristics, naturally also in the Q8. Five characteristics define the driving behavior: balanced, solid, controlled, precise, and effortless. The chassis, steering, drive, brake, and control systems play a crucial role in creating a sustainably safe, dynamic, and simultaneously comfortable driving behavior. Already in the standard equipment, the Q8 offers a coherent driving feel thanks to the well-balanced steel spring suspension with damper control. As optional equipment, an electronically controlled air suspension with continuously adaptive damping system - as adaptive air suspension or adaptive air suspension sport (standard equipment on the SQ8 TFSI1) - can be selected. Additionally, the optional all-wheel steering (standard equipment on the SQ8 TFSI1) ensures an increased level of safety and comfort. At low speeds, the rear wheels turn up to five degrees in the opposite direction to the front wheels. This reduces the turning circle by up to one meter and increases maneuverability when parking. At the same time, you feel more comfort and stability at higher speeds because the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels. To improve the handling of the Q8 in everyday situations such as maneuvering in parking lots, parking garages, or the home garage, an optimization of the steering provides more ease in these maneuvers.
