The new Nissan Juke Hybrid - Optical fine tuning

The sporty look of the design icon is also retained in the hybrid version. However, Nissan has paid great attention to detail in tweaking small details to optimize aerodynamic efficiency - and to mark the Juke Hybrid as an electrified version. "Hybrid" badges can be found on the front doors and the tailgate, for example. The radiator grille now bears the new Nissan brand logo, while glossy black stripes mark the transition to the hood - a motif that all electrified Nissan models pick up on. The grille itself has a new grille pattern and a smaller opening to reduce drag - the lower cooling requirements of the hybrid drive have a positive impact here. The additional radiator grille screen automatically adjusts the airflow to the cooling requirements and reduces drag as much as possible. Changes have also been made to the bodywork below the bumper. The modified rear spoiler above the rear window also improves airflow, as do the reshaped and repositioned spoilers in front of the front wheels. The new rear axle cover smooths the airflow under the vehicle. All told, these barely visible modifications provide CO2 savings of about 2 grams per 100 km, underscoring Nissan's determination to achieve efficiency gains. Two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels are introduced with the Juke Hybrid and will also be offered on conventionally powered variants of the coupe crossover in the future. Alternatively, the two-tone 19-inch aero wheels, which are also available in a similar form for the new Ariya, are available.
