Renault Scenic Vision - Compact dimensions, dynamic design

At 4.49 meters long by 1.9 meters wide and 1.59 meters high, the Renault Scénic Vision corresponds to the dimensional concept of the compact class. The long wheelbase and elongated window areas already signal to the outside the excellent space available in the interior. Curved lines and the dynamic alternation of convex and concave surfaces express power and movement. Air intakes, headlights and daytime running lights create a distinct high-tech look, as do the large 21-inch wheels. On the rims are movable flaps that close the openings between the spokes, enhancing the vehicle's aerodynamic efficiency. At driving speeds below 10 km/h, the flaps open to better dissipate waste heat from the brakes. Original detail: the Renault trademark on the wheel hub covers does not rotate with the wheels, but remains in an upright position even when the Scenic Vision is in motion. To realize the greatest possible ease of entry for driver and passengers, the concept car is designed without a B-pillar and with opposing doors.
