Audi Sport customer racing experienced a strong start in the European SRO racing series with its customer teams. Within the total of 112 GT race cars in three classes, no fewer than 25 Audi R8 LMS were on the grids at Imola. While Team WRT won the GT3 endurance race, LP Racing and PK Carsport shared the victories in the GT2 European Series. Team Fullmotorsport and its drivers lead the Am standings in the GT4 European Series.

EQA is the name of the new entry-level model to the all-electric world of Mercedes-EQ vehicles. The electro-aesthetics of its design are indicative of the Progressive Luxury of the Mercedes-EQ brand. Smart assistants support the driver in many areas: for example with respect to accident avoidance, the anticipatory and therefore particularly efficient operating strategy, and Navigation with Electric Intelligence. In addition, the car features various exceptional Mercedes-Benz functions, such as ENERGIZING Comfort and MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience). The EQA is a member of the successful compact car family from Mercedes-Benz. A close relation of the GLA, it delivers all the thrilling characteristics of that vehicle, combined in this case with an efficient electric powertrain. The new EQA is being built in Rastatt (Germany) and Beijing (China). The battery systems for the EQA are supplied by the Mercedes-Benz subsidiary Accumotive in Kamenz. The battery factory in Jawor, Poland, is also preparing to produce battery systems for the compact Mercedes-EQ models. From the spring of 2021, the electric SUV will be available from the European dealerships.

In the open-plan interior, special attention was paid to selected, environmentally friendly materials. Both materials are pollutant-free and sustainable: the door panel consists of fibers from recycled PET plastic bottles, while the cork is obtained from renewable tree bark without the need to fell trees. For the first time in a Mazda, the air conditioning is controlled by touchscreen. The seven-inch display, which also greets the driver when he gets in, continuously adapts its graphics to the outside environment, creating an interactive experience that strengthens the connection between people and the vehicle. From the materials to the functionality and technology to the design: all elements together create a space that attracts the driver's attention.
