With ŠKODA's first purely battery-electric SUV, the Czech carmaker is taking the biggest step yet in implementing its electromobility strategy. The new ENYAQ iV is the first ŠKODA production model to be based on the Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB) from the Volkswagen Group. It is being built at ŠKODA's main plant in Mladá Boleslav, making it the only MEB model in Europe to be manufactured outside Germany. The new flagship of the ŠKODA model range offers the generous space typical of the brand and, thanks to its emotional design language, is visually electrifying at first glance. In the interior, new Design Selections replace classic equipment lines, while a clear new product range structure enables the configuration of the desired vehicle with just a few clicks. The ENYAQ iV comes with rear- or all-wheel drive, and there is also a choice of five power levels and three battery sizes. With a range of more than 520 kilometers in the WLTP cycle, it is fully suitable for travel. The market launch will take place in spring 2021.
