Aiways continues to accelerate its growth plans, focused on launching new markets, new products and sustainable mobility, improving the user experience, and developing the brand's digital skills. Aiways bases its growth plans on the introduction of a new model per year, and in 2022 it is the turn of the SUV coupé U6. The U6ion is a very close replica of the final model, whose production is about to start at the state-of-the-art facility in Shangrao, China. The U6ion, conceived from the outset as a coupé, exhibits sporty and vigorous lines. The fastback-style roof profile integrates a dome-shaped glazing surface that ends in a sharp-edged C-pillar. The flared rear end accentuates the visual play that starts from the prominent front fender, which incorporates a series of functional aerodynamic elements. The exclusive design of the LED headlights is combined with a daytime running light system that includes position lights and indicators. Beneath each headlight is a separate air intake that directs the flow to the braking system for cooling.
The new BMW 640i xDrive Gran Turismo - The exterior design
Dynamically elongated proportions characterize the exterior design of the new BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, which is focused on sporty elegance and versatile functionality. The unmistakable features include the flat side window graphics, the frameless windows of the four doors, the roof line flowing far into the rear, the large tailgate and the Active Rear Spoiler which automatically extends at a driving speed of 120 km/h. The redesign of the front and rear sections reinforces both the presence and the striking sportiness of the new BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo. New contours for the BMW kidney and the headlights immediately adjacent to it give the front view a striking expression. The BMW kidney now extends further outwards and also reaches deeper into the front apron. The flatter contours of the headlights emphasize the wide front of the new BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo. The air intake below the front bumper is now divided into three segments.

With a simplified menu structure and pioneering design, Pivi Pro provides immediate responses – even when starting the vehicle for the first time. Its built-in back-up battery means navigation initialisation takes just seconds, while the logical menus allow the most commonly used functions to be accessed directly from the customisable home screen, to reduce driver distraction. Connectivity is provided by dual-sim technology, with two LTE modems enabling the system to carry out multiple functions at the same time – such as streaming media and downloading Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) updates – without compromising performance. Land Rover’s SOTA technology allows owners to update as many as 44 individual electronic modules, without the inconvenience of visiting a retailer.
