Massachusetts to End Sale of New Gas-Powered Cars by 2035
Massachusetts has announced that it will require all new car sales to be electric by 2035.
This quirky zipper-shaped boat looks like it's unfastening a river. The work, "Zip-Fastener Ship”, is the creation of artist Yasuhiro Suzuki. It was exhibited in the recent 2020 Sumida river Sumi-Yume Art Project, where it sailed along the waterway which flows through Tokyo, Japan. The work was inspired by the artist looking down on Tokyo Bay from an airplane window and seeing a ship's wake seeming to open the water like a zip.

A superyacht inspired by a crab has been developed. The 'Pagurus' is a solar-powered amphibious catamaran. It features special rotating cylinders that lower to enable it to travel on land. The so-called 'Crabmaran' version is able to move on sand or mud at up to 30 km/h. Italy’s Lazzarini design studio say the vessel has a two-year build time. Prospective buyers can expect to pay up to €24M for the amphibious 'Crabmaran' model.
A company has shown off what they say are the world's first Motorcycle Airbag Jeans. The garment deploys if the rider is thrown from their vehicle. Moses Shahrivar, founder of Mo'Cycle & The Designer of the Jeans, explains “the majority of all injuries in a motorcycle accident occurs to the lower body" "the Airbag Jeans offer airbag protection for new areas on the lower body that previously has been unprotected." “The Airbag Jeans are under development; the 1st mechanical prototype works and we are working on the 2nd electronic prototype." "We will be close to launch when we have made the 3rd Ce approved prototype.”
