New airline in the sky: Canarian Airways takes off!

On Tenerife, the new Canarian airline Canarian Airways was presented this week. Already for a long time the idea of an own airline for tourist flights has been played with. At a press conference, this has now become a reality. The operation is to be started already in June 2021, confirms also the safety manager of the new airline. "The flight operation will be started in June 2021. We will fly with one aircraft, an Airbus A319 with 144 seats. The flight destinations will include Berlin. The base of operations will be Tenerife South Airport." The first flight will take place on June 5 from Madrid to Tenerife, at least that is the plan. The founder and co-owner of the airline looks back on a piece of hard work.... "This airline is the result of long work and is a joint venture between hoteliers and the airline One Airways. Ticket sales are to start as early as March." From June, destinations such as Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Vigo, Glasgow as well as Cardiff will then be served in addition to Berlin.
