FC Bayern Munich, founded in 1900, is one of the most successful soccer clubs in the world with 33 championship titles and 20 cup wins. The club's legends include Franz Beckenbauer, "the Emperor", and Oliver Kahn, the "Titan". Beckenbauer played for FC Bayern from 1964 to 1977 and led the club to numerous successes. Kahn, goalkeeper from 1994 to 2008, was known for his combative attitude and outstanding performances. Both shaped the success story of FC Bayern and are still unforgotten icons of the club today.
