Pierre Kaiser of SG Dormitz/Brand 2 has made Bavarian football history. The 35-year-old is Bavaria's first leg amputee to participate in regular competition. He was substituted in at 1-1 during the 2-1 home win against TSV Behringersdorf. The joy over the victory and the boost for participation was huge - both within his own team and among the opponents. Kaiser lost a leg in a train accident in 2007 and has been fighting his way back into life, step by step, on the sports field since then. He is a player of the amputee football team "Anpfiff Hoffenheim", a player of the German amputee national team, and now also an officially eligible player of the A-class team SG Dormitz/Brand 2.
