Stephen Colbert lashes out against Trump while celebrating his Emmy win

Colbert thanked the writers, the team, the editors, and the live audience – adding, 'This Emmy is yours too, but I'm keeping it.' He also praised his fellow nominees Jon Stewart and Jimmy Kimmel before noting, 'Speaking of Emmys - Donald Trump doesn't have one.' In his acceptance speech, Colbert thanked CBS and his team: 'You are the pros, and I'm proud to be one of you.' CBS announced in July that 'The Late Show' will end in 2026 - officially for financial reasons, though many suspect political pressure also played a role.
